Muirfield Village Golf Club was polished and beautiful on May 27, 1974, during a dedication match between PGA Tour legends Tom Weiskopf and Jack Nicklaus, the Ohio native who founded and designed the course.
It was just as impressive two years later, when Roger Maltbie won the first Memorial Tournament. Constant tinkering to one of Central Ohio’s most treasured courses challenges the world’s best golfers each spring — and makes watching four rounds of play a treat in person or on TV.
