    2015 Central Ohio Election Results

    The votes are still being tallied, but with nearly 99% percent of votes tallied across the State of Ohio, it’s fairly safe to call this year’s general election results finalized.

    Voters in the City of Columbus chose Andrew Ginther to serve as the next Mayor, while picking Zach Klein, Shannon Hardin, Jaiza Page, Elizabeth Brown and Michael Stinziano to serve on City Council. Mary Jo Hudson, Eric Brown, W. Shawna Gibbs and Gary Baker, II were selected for positions on the Columbus City Schools Board.

    In other municipalities, Kim Maggard was selected as Mayor of Whitehall, Richard Stage selected as Mayor of Grove City and Tom Kneeland as Mayor of Gahanna.

    Issue 1 (Redistricting) passed with 71 percent of the vote. Issue 2 (Prohibiting Monopolies) passed with 52 percent of the vote. Issue 3 (Marijuana Legalization) failed with only 36 percent of the vote.

    The ADAMH Levy passed with 71 percent of the vote. The Franklin County Zoo Levy passed with 76 percent of the vote.
