Gallery Hop is here again, and there’s a lot of new things happening in the neighborhood. New stores have opened up recently, there’s new art exhibits to enjoy, and plenty of music, shows and other entertainment to take in while out and about tonight. Below are five things we recommend that you check out on this lovely April evening:

    1. Shopping – Tha City Clothing Co.

One of the newest boutiques to open in The Short North is Tha City Clothing Company, located at 15 West Price. This new store features shirts, hoodies, sweaters and accessories for both men and women. You can read the full scoop on their new shop HERE.

    2. Art – 83 Gallery

83 Gallery is doing another big show this month, which features over 35 local artists all in one space, as well as a glass installation by OSU artist John Sharvin. Tonight’s reception runs from 6pm to 11pm and features bluegrass from Bright Light as well as champagne and PBR. More details HERE.

    3. Art – “Le Voyeur” Installation

This is one art installation that you wont have to enter a gallery to see. The Launch Farm is projecting “Le Voyeur” out of their second story studio windows for everyone on the sidewalk to enjoy. So grab a coffee and stay awhile. You can read more about the project HERE.

    4. Entertainment – One Upon A Nina

Tonight is the final night (shows at 6pm and 9pm) for Nina West’s new show “Once Upon A Nina”. Follow the drag queen extraordinary through a fairy tale adventure complete with pop music dance numbers. You can read our full review of the show HERE.

    5. Shopping – Bink Davies

Short North guru Melanie McIntyre just profiled Bink Davies this week here on CU, which provides a nice update on the latest items this shop is carrying. If you’re in need of a unique gift item, then you’re likely to find something worth taking home with you from this boutique.

What else are you looking forward to at Gallery Hop tonight?
