    Alive Review: Cafe Bourbon Street

    You don’t expect many frills from a bar that advertises, on its MySpace page, a working urinal and a staff that despises BS. No need to be concerned, though. Cafe Bourbon Street’s rough edges only bolster the joint’s good-humored, rock ‘n’ roll energy.

    Bar signs and flower-shaped light fixtures dimly illuminate the bar’s dark walls, which are cluttered with decor like a punked-out Applebee’s. A low stage is the focal point of the bar and a nightly hot spot for live music.
