    When it comes to late-night bites, most options involve fried forgettables with a side of stomach acid. Just because it’s the wee morning and you’re freshly returned to sobriety doesn’t mean you have to settle for drive-through dining.

    Located at the northern edge of North Campus, the Kitchen Lounge offers inspired comfort-food cuisine till a whopping-gee-whiz 4 a.m.

    Owner Rob Maccabee wanted his restaurant and bar to serve low-cost, familiar fare with unexpected flair. He also wanted his kitchen to be open for night owls.
