Emily Cable is on board when it comes to Columbus helping land a project that will put artists living and working side by side.
“That’s the kind of place I want to be,” said Cable, a mixed-media artist who works in oil paint and wax to depict the human figure.
Cable and like-minded artists in Central Ohio could get their wish if Artspace Projects Inc., which creates affordable spaces for artists, brings one of its projects to Columbus. The Minneapolis nonprofit group recently identified the city as a potential site after completing a feasibility study.
