The year-old luxury Grandview apartments, Southern Station, boast countless amenities (co-working spaces, a fitness center and a dog wash station, to name a few) and easy accessibility to Downtown.
It’s these perks and proximity that attracted resident Caroline Wroe.
“I moved in as soon as they opened the doors in July of 2022,” Wroe said.
“Everything is extremely close,” she added. “It’s one of the greatest benefits to living in the area. The ease of living here is highly motivating. “The Grandview Heights School District is highly rated and I want the best opportunities for my kids,” she said.
Wroe was also looking for the opportunity to rent, and found that with Southern Station.
“Most of the modern and updated options on the market now are for purchase,” she said. “I wanted new and I wanted a place my family could grow into, without the purchase commitment and everything else that comes with that.”

And the amenities on-site (business and fitness center, yoga studio, clubhouse and pool, dog-wash station, and complimentary Starbucks) provide a person with almost everything they could need.”
“I also love and appreciate being close to city life with the benefits of a close-knit community,” she said. “I travel a lot for work, so it’s really nice being close to all the freeways. Living here definitely cuts my travel time down, whether it be for work or just running basic errands. We’re so close to everything!”
At nearly 90% occupancy, Southern Station is building community among its growing number of residents through clubhouse events, like wine nights and holiday-themed parties. Most recently, the building hosted a make-your-own-sushi night.
“We are super excited for our first summer with the outdoor amenities officially open for use,” Wroe said. “They’ve hinted at some pretty epic pool parties!”
