It’s been a very good week for announcements about Columbus Commons. First, the Columbus Symphony announced that they’d be relocating Picnic with the Pops in 2012, and today Shadowbox Live announced that they’ll be relocating their Woodstock-based musical: Back to the Garden.

Last year, Back to the Garden was performed for free in Schiller Park, attracting over 3500 attendees for a one-night only show. A similar outdoor event is planned for Sunday, May 29th a 8PM at Columbus Commons, where an attendance of 10,000 can be accommodated.

“The response to the Schiller Park show last year was off the charts,” says Stev Guyer, Shadowbox Live CEO and Executive Producer. “People kept asking when we would give another outdoor performance.  We’re extremely excited to be able to meet that request.”
