    Bad Girl Ventures Accepting Applications for Fall 2013 Class

    If you are a women-owned business in need of resources, apply for Bad Girl Venture’s Fall 2013 classes. Bad Girl Ventures is a women-owned non-profit that provides education, resources and micro-loans to women entrepreneurs in Ohio. Their nine-week business education course is designed to teach women the valuable skills needed to start and sustain a thriving business.

    Applications will be accepted through Sept. 1. Ten finalists in Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati will receive scholarships to attend the course that will cover topics like business and marketing plans, as well as financial planning. After the course, one finalist in each city will be selected to receive a $25,000 low-interest loan to help their business.

    Eligibility requirements include:

    • – Majority women-owned business
    • – In business for five years or less
    • – Need a low-interest loan of $25,000 or less
