Best Food Truck of 2014: Mikey’s Late Night Slice

For the third time, Mikey’s Late Night Slice has landed at the top of our annual reader’s survey when it comes to the best food truck in Columbus. Some people might consider LNS to have an unfair advantage, given that they now have multiple trucks in their fleet and a whopping 10 brick-and-mortar locations throughout the city. But the pizza speaks for itself, and locals love the juvenile (and sometimes NSFW) culture of the company that just keeps growing. In 2014, the folks behind LNS launched the Oddfellows Liquor Bar in the Short North, which has quickly become a local favorite, and 2015 may seen the renovation of the original LNS shack into a shipping container facility. Of course, neither of those things have to do with their mobile operations, but they continue to reinforce the brand, which in turn causes locals to seek out their food trucks at festivals and special events.
