On Monday, the Columbus Blue Jackets unveiled their preseason schedule, which includes four home games and four away games, and starts on September 18th.

They also announced the restructuring of some of the seating-areas inside Nationwide Arena that will make an additional 1,400 seats available for lower priced tickets, to help accommodate fans on a budget.
The preseason schedule includes:
- CBJ at Minnesota Wild Friday, September 18 at 8 pm
- CBJ at Nashville Predators Saturday, September 19 at 8 pm
- Minnesota Wild at CBJ Monday, September 21 at 7 pm
- Boston Bruins at CBJ Tuesday, September 22 at 7 pm
- Pittsburgh Penguins at CBJ Thursday, September 24 at 7pm
- CBJ at Pittsburgh Penguins Friday, September 25 at 7:30pm
- CBJ at Boston Bruins Saturday, September 26 at 7 pm
- Nashville Predators at CBJ Monday, September 28 at 7pm
