Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman and area business leaders have met with Gov. Ted Strickland to discuss Downtown development projects, including options for the ailing City Center mall.
Details were not disclosed. Strickland spokesman Keith Dailey described Thursday’s meeting as a briefing to keep the governor informed, but he said no commitments or decisions were made.
Mike Brown, a spokesman for Coleman, said the meeting was held at the request of the mayor and local business leaders to “brief the governor on the progress we’re making Downtown.” He said one topic was City Center.
