On Sunday, the Dispatch published an article about the conflict between The City of Columbus and Club Ice, a Downtown nightclub located at 40 E. Long Street. Last month, the city asked for their liquor license to be revoked along with 12 other bars deemed problematic. The article goes on to discuss the bar’s issues with frequent police calls, but more interestingly at the bottom of the article, Club Ice owner Kevin Hightower states that he plans to sell the venue. Could this mean something new in the way of nightlife may be coming soon to Downtown?
