Budd Dairy Food Hall is announcing a new vendor ahead of its anticipated spring debut. Cluck Norris will join the nine-kitchen lineup, replacing previously announced vendor Darista.
Serving up “ass-kickin’ chicken,” Cluck Norris will offer a streamlined menu of crispy chicken dishes. Chicken tenders are hand-cut and dipped to order, served with a choice of sauce, including Cluck’s original, sweet chili, BBQ, sriracha, and HOLY CLUCK!! There will also be several chicken sandwiches and a brief appearance from another animal with the Pig Tenderloin. Fries, fresh lemonade and tea make it a meal.
“We are thrilled to bring this whimsical concept to life while working alongside the diverse lineup of talented chef partners at Budd Dairy Food Hall,” says Josh Yosick, the chef behind the concept. “The Cluck Norris menu is small, but mighty, with black-belt quality dishes that have been carefully thought out and perfected to complement the fun, hip atmosphere of the food hall.”
Yosick has 20 plus years of industry experience, most recently serving as corporate chef for Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern, the sister company of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants which operates Budd Dairy Food Hall in partnership with local developer Kevin Lykens.
Cluck Norris will join previously announced vendors Tacos Rudos, Boni Filipino Street Food, Pokebap, Stauf’s Coffee Roasters, Cousins Maine Lobster, Modern Southern Table, Alphabetical Comfort Kitchen and Borgata Pizza.
“Cluck Norris is a perfect fit to round out the diverse offerings at Budd Dairy Food Hall,” says General Manager Jeremy Hughes. “When guests order from the simple, yet edgy menu, they are guaranteed to have a laugh while enjoying flavorful, high-quality chicken dishes.”
Originally slated to open in early 2020, Budd Diary Food Hall is now scheduled to open at 1086 N. Fourth St. in Italian Village this spring.
