Columbus Mega Summer Weekend 2009 – Vol. 6

Plenty of things to do this weekend, but the big event at the top of everyone’s list is Comfest which kicks off at noon today and runs through Sunday night. The lineup of bands can be found here, and some additional discussion about this year’s ramped up no-BYOB policy can be found here.

If Comfest isn’t your thing, there’s also the Historic Hilltop Bean Dinner on Saturday afternoon at Westgate Park, a free Bacardi B-Live concert at the LC on Saturday Night featuring Ghostland Observatory and Z-Trip, a midnight showing of Kung Pow at the second installment of New Cult Classics at Studio 35 on Saturday, as well as the 50th Anniversary of the German Village Haus Und Garten Tour running all day on Sunday. If you want to check out a Crew game, head there on Saturday to help Kick Cancer!

    Enjoy your weekend, Columbus!
