The Actors’ Theatre in Schiller Park continues performances of The Merchant of Venice.

The Rich Street Bridge officially opens on Friday at 11am. Casey James will be at The Bluestone on Friday with special guest Matt Mason. The Wexner Center’s Indoor Summer Series featuring Marilyn Monroe kicks off Friday with a triple feature. Get there early for Drink It In: Bottled Blondes, a blonde beer tasting lead by Jen Burton of The Barrel and the Bottle in the North Market. The New Players Theater opens King Lear on Friday. Friday and Saturday are the final showings of Cutting Room Floor at Shadowbox Live. The Clippers Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Jesse Chandler’s 30th Anniversary Retrospective Art Show, “MY UNIFIED FIELD” is now Friday night because of last week’s power outages. Cool off at the Short North Stage’s Green Room with the “Too Darn Hot” Series on Friday and Saturday nights with cabaret performer David Bahgat in “Let Me Be Your Star–A Tribute to the Hot Ladies of Broadway.” Gallery831 is hosting ReBOOT:DEUX, a Tableware Invitiational.
