    Happy Weekend! This weekend is packed with things to do and lots of events are going on a few days of the weekend. There are also a couple of Farmers’ Markets starting on Saturday!

    Thursday

    Available Light Theatre opens their new play, Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom tonight and has performances through Sunday. It’s Free Calzone Day at DP Dough (4-8pm). Zauber Brewing is hosting Food Trucks in their parking lot starting tonight, Friday and Saturday. BalletMet’s DanceTech continues tonight, Friday and Saturday. ShadowboxLive continues their performance of Smoke and Mirrors tonight, Friday and Saturday. G. Michael’s Bistro is hosting a Sottimano wine dinner tonight. Meet Marc Brown, the author of Arthur, at the Main Library tonight at 7pm. Listen to Pushcart Prize-winning poet George Bilgere at the McConnell Arts Center. Experience 5,000 years of China’s grandeur with Shen Yun Performing Arts tonight and Friday. The Downtown Digital Arts Festival ends tonight. At Rumba Cafe, Burgle is playing all the best DOAP music for you. Columbus Comedy Festival 3 is at Wild Goose tonight, Friday and Saturday. THREE DAYS of awesome, rib-splitting comedy!

    Friday

    If you’re not doing anything for lunch, head over to Front Street Plaza for the unveiling of the 2013 NHL All-Star Game logo – free event, $1 hot dogs and chips. It’s also the last day for you to get lunch at the fRESHSTREET crepe/takoyaki shack at 1030 N. High St. It’s Family Day at COSI. You can also check out the Wild & Scenic Film Festival at COSI Friday and Saturday. Cheer on the Clippers as they take on the Pawtucket Red Sox, Friday through Monday. Skip over to 400 West Rich for Spring Thing – This Is My Suitcase and Way Yes with special guests, I Mustache You A Question! See German Village artist Bunny Koff’s latest work. My Best Friend’s Party has a three stage show at the Bluestone called Where the Wild Things Rage.

    Saturday

    The Clintonville Farmers’ Market opens Saturday with the Spring Sprout Market. The Reduction Sale is back at 11am, this time at The Garden Theater. The Columbus Symphony Orchestra is performing Disney in Concert, Magical Music from the Movies on Saturday. Go to the Rally for Women’s Rights on the west lawn of the Ohio Statehouse at 10am. The Crew battles Vancouver on Saturday at 7:30pm. There’s a Bicycle Booze Cruise on Saturday – don’t worry, they promise you will still be able to ride your bike! The 2012 Ohio Shorts Screening is on Saturday at The Wexner Center. O-GEE’s got old school hip hop and R&B at Barrio. Go see the unique fashion and wearable sculpture show Psychomachia at Junctionview Studios. Short North Stage is bringing back Linda Roth and Johnny Steiner on Saturday night at 8pm in The Green Room in their cabaret Boy Meets Girl. Circus is hosting Juicy: Time to Get ill. There’s an opening reception for Follow the Brush at Gallery 831. It’s time once again for the HOOT Family Film Series at The Gateway Film Center.

    Sunday

    The 6th Annual Short North Gala is Sunday. Reefer Madness is at ShadowboxLive on Sunday. Stop by Neighborhood Launch’s Open House on Sunday, starting at 1pm. Fresh Air’s Spring Warmup is happening again in Goodale Park. There is a Japanese Carnival at fRESHSTREET Double Happiness on Sunday from 3pm to 9pm. Hal & Al’s is starting a new monthly event the last Sunday of the month, the Food Truck and Cart Hop, join them at noon. Make sure to see CS Gallery’s Birthday Bash exhibition.
