    Columbus Ranked 19 for Job Growth in 2011

    NewGeography.com just released their annual ranked list of “Best Cities for Jobs” and Columbus came in at number 19 on their large cities list — up seven spots from 26th place last year. This study measures the robustness of a region’s growth over the entire metropolitan statistical area, and the rankings are calculated by measuring data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

    Austin topped the list for the second year in a row. Neighbors Pittsburgh and Indianapolis came in at 11th and 28th, respectively. Cleveland (#48) and Cincinnati (#49) were further down the list.
