Alcohol is the catalyst behind many great (and not so great) ideas. Crazy Mullets, a new ’80s-themed Campus hair salon, is a fine example of drinking genius.
The wise-cracking entrepreneurs are feeling anything but shame these days. Business has doubled since the salon opened just over three months ago, despite the fact that there’s no sign on the door yet. With an electric green and red interior adorned with murals and collages paying homage to all things mullet, the decor stops people in their tracks — from curiosity more than anything else.
With plans to roll out a chain of five more salons in Ohio, it’s safe to say mullets, crazy or not, are here to stay.
