The new location will be twice the size of the Downtown original. The menu will include the same all-beef Vienna hot dogs and Tofurkey veggie dogs, as well as boozy slushies and draught beer. The new location will also add Chicago-style Italian beef sandwiches, hamburgers and veggie burgers to the menu.

“I’m really attracted to the revitalization happening all over the West side,” said Elizabeth Lessner, co-founder of The Columbus Food League. “All of West Broad Street from Franklinton to Westgate has some amazing older buildings with so much great history and character as well as fabulous residents. The folks in Westgate have been such great cheerleaders for this project, I’m so excited we get to serve the neighborhood.”

The new Dirty Frank’s is slated to open in Spring 2013.

The original Dirty Frank’s Downtown location has been recognized for two years running as the Best Cheap Eats by Columbus Underground readers in our annual poll.
