A brand-new show featuring both drag and opera will host drag queen, actor, and RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11 alum Nina West.
While there are still very little details on the performance, it’s to be assumed West will demonstrate her singing chops. Her third studio album, “The West Christmas Ever” was released on Nov. 8.
“Opera Columbus presents Nina West” takes place at the Southern Theatre on June 13, 2020. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, Nov. 25 at 12 p.m. Opera Columbus season ticket subscribers will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets starting today, Nov. 11. Tickets start at $25, and premier seating and packages are also available.
Opera Columbus is also offering a mini-season subscription for the remainder of its 2019-2020 season, which includes tickets to “The Barber of Seville,” Feb. 14 and 16, 2020, and “The Poppea Project,” April 22-26, 2020.
