After recently releasing a community development plan that includes the complete annexation of Jerome Township for the development of the massive Dublin Technology Corridor, a revised plan was revealed that includes the long-term project of annexing the entire City of Columbus as well. “We see some real potential there,” said one Dublin City Council member who asked to remain anonymous. “A lot of land in Columbus is prime real estate for new Dublin golf-courses, Dublin housing developments, and Dublin office parks. We’ve just got a lot of demolition work to do in order for this new Dublin land to reach it’s fullest potential.”
The draft copy of the plan calls for replacing the brick streets of German Village with paved cul-de-sacs and renaming the area “Raven Wood Meadows”. Similarly, Victorian Village would be razed and rebranded as “Walnut Bridge Hollows”. The entire University District will be kept intact and used as a landfill.
