Columbus is home to the #1 Retail Center Experience in America for 2021, according to Chain Store Age magazine. Easton Town Center is tops when it comes to shopping.
It’s the second time Easton has nabbed the #1 spot, also receiving the accolade in 2019.
“The guest experience has always been a top priority at Easton Town Center,” said Jennifer Peterson, Chief Executive of Easton in a press release. “Since opening in 1999 and throughout a global pandemic in 2020, Easton Town Center continues to focus on delivering an extraordinary experience to all who visit. We are honored to be recognized by Chain Store Age as the number one Retail Center Experience in the country this year.”
During 30 million visits per year, visitors spend more than $1 billion at Easton’s 240 plus retail, dining and entertainment establishments.
Throughout its 22 years, the shopping, dining and entertainment destination has continued to expand.
Coming out of the pandemic, Easton has welcomed first in the state and first of its kind retailers, like UpWest and Gilly Hicks.
The Easton Gateway brought in big name retailers like Whole Foods and REI, while also adding locally-based brands like Elm & Iron, Hot Chicken Takeover and COhatch.
More recently, the $500 million Easton Expansion has added a number of new shops and restaurants over the last year and a half, including RH Columbus, Arhaus, Forbidden Root, The Beeline, Crimson, Dragon Donuts, LemonShark Poké and Makai Grill, Pins Mechanical, Slurping Turtle, True Food Kitchen and Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce Café & Speakeasy Supper Club.
