Easton Town Center recently installed two electric vehicle charging stations in the second floor of the east parking garage. This new technology is quickly taking hold in Central Ohio, with similar stations opening last month in the Underground Statehouse Parking Garage located Downtown.
“We are constantly reviewing trends not only retail, dining and entertainment, but in technology as well, to ensure we’re providing an unparalleled experience for our visitors,” said Beau Arnason, Executive Vice President Steiner & Associates, the co-developer and property manager of Easton Town Center. “Now that electric cars are more viable and more prevalent, we purchased two to increase our own efficiency and we felt adding chargers for our guests was an amenity we could offer and that would be utilized.”
In addition to the new stations, Easton has purchased two electric security vehicles that will utilize the new technology and will contribute to the mission of making Easton more green.
The electric car charging stations are free for public use.
