Columbus Blooms

Come and enjoy the beauty of Columbus Blooms! This event celebrates the vibrant colors and blooming flowers of spring, featuring over 135,000 tulips, daffodils, and pansies. It’s one of the most beautiful signs of spring in Central Ohio, made possible by the Presenting Sponsor, GreenScapes Landscape Co.

The Conservatory’s container displays will be filled with a myriad of colors in the upcoming months of March, April, and May. The gardens will be covered with daffodils, pansies, and tulips. Along with these popular spring flowers, you can also enjoy the beauty of cherries, lilacs, magnolias, viburnum, and thousands of perennials in the botanical gardens of the Conservatory and the rest of Franklin Park.

Columbus Blooms is a beautiful exhibition that changes over time. The display visuals change as various species of plants come in and out of bloom. Although most of the bulbs bloom in April, new blossoms will appear in the coming months. Every Thursday, the Conservatory will update a report that lists which plants are blooming so that Franklin Park guests and visitors can easily identify them and locate them. Columbus Blooms is included in admission and best enjoyed during daylight hours. Tickets can be reserved in advance online.

More than 125,000 tulips, narcissus, pansies and other stars of the season will bloom in the botanical gardens and container displays. Throughout the Conservatory and Franklin Park, magnolias, lilacs, cherries, viburnum and thousands of perennials bring exciting bursts of scent and color after a long winter slumber.
