Winter Seed Swap & Catalog Rodeo

THERE’S NO BETTER WAY TO SPEND A SLUSHY DAY than planning your vegetable and flower gardening for next summer. C’mon down to the Winter Seed Swap & Catalog Rodeo at the Columbus Garden School! Bring your unused seeds (from 2021-present) to swap with others and expand your garden. Do you really need 30 zucchini plants next summer? Didn’t think so. Be generous and you’ll reap some rewards! Take some seeds, leave some seeds, bring your BFF, and/or make some new friends. We’ll probably have seeds for vegetables, herbs, flowers, native plants, and who-knows-what. It just depends on what folks bring. You can recycle your duplicate/unwanted seed catalogs here, too. (Have you noticed seed catalogs are nearly identical every year?) Get your seed-starting questions answered by Tisa Watts, Columbus Garden School educator. She’s a gardener with years of experience growing everything from herbs to trees. We can help coordinate group catalog orders to save $$ on shipping and to split orders with others (if desired). Bring your catalogs but we’ll have some available, too. PLEASE CARPOOL if possible, thank you! Face masks are optional but suggested inside the classroom. RSVPs are not required but are always appreciated.
