    First Look: Baba’s

The story behind Baba’s dates back to over two and a half years ago to when Dan and Caroline Kraus first informed Columbus Underground that they would be taking their mobile venture That Food Truck, and turn it into something bigger called The Butcher’s Baker in Italian Village. Since then, the name changed and the location changed, and a variety of delays pushed the opening back from Early 2015 to November 2016, but the time has finally arrived for Baba’s to open to the public.

The new 1,400 square foot space is home to a large open kitchen and a small seating area. Caroline said that the business is starting off with limited hours and a limited menu focused on breakfast and coffee, but plan to roll out lunch and dinner options over the coming weeks and months.

Baba’s is located at 2515 Summit Street, just south of Hudson in Old North Columbus.
