The Vic Village Tavern has arrived at 251 W. Fifth Ave.
Although it has only been open since last week, the new bar from seasoned owners Quinn Allen, Matt Herron and Lonnie Kubankin is designed to look like it has been around for decades. Brick walls, stately booths and plenty of vintage bar and beer decor give new life to the space that was formerly Shrunken Head.
A casual, neighborhood hangout, the drinks-only bar is a shot and a beer type of place. There’s canned beers and seltzers, a selection of wines and plenty of call liquor.
TVs line the walls, optimal for sports viewing, and the tavern will work in programming like live music, karaoke and trivia.
The Vic Village Tavern is open from 4 p.m. – 2 a.m. Monday through Saturday.
