    First Look: Weenie Wonder

Whether your hot dog tastes tend towards the classic, like a Coney, or the adventurous, like a Dumpster Dog (jojos, coney sauce, cheddar, mac & cheese and wonder sauce), Weenie Wonder will have an option to fit your cravings.

The hot dog joint from Rise Brands, the minds behind PINS and 16-Bit, celebrates its grand opening on Thursday, February 24.

It’s a streamlined menu: dogs, sides and milkshakes. Diners can go with a signature hot dog option, or build their own from a combination of 30 plus toppings. Potato accompaniment comes in the form of Jojos, seasoned potato wedges, or tots, which can also be loaded up with toppings. Round things out with a classic strawberry, vanilla or chocolate milkshake.

Rise Brands wants Weenie Wonder to be a fun, casual place that can be experienced as part of PINS and 16-Bit (all three flow into each other), or as an excursion all on its own.

A second Weenie Wonder location is already in the works, with plans to open at the PINS and 16-Bit at Easton later this summer.

Weenie Wonder, 6562 Riverside Dr., will be open from 4 – 9 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, 4 p.m. – 12 a.m. Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. – 12 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday. The hot dog joint hopes to add weekday lunchtime hours in the next few weeks.
