First Phase of The Dennison in Victorian Village Almost Complete

The first residents of the Dennison in Victorian Village should be moving in by the end of the month. Work on the former Leafy Dale building at 789 Dennison Avenue is wrapping up after more than a year of construction.

Construction will continue, though, on the new-build portion of the project, which will add a 33-car parking garage and twelve additional units to the building. Mark Wood, President of the Wood Companies, said that the addition should be complete by early summer 2015.

“The two buildings will be physically connected, so that the Dennison lobby will serve both buildings, and the addition will serve the parking needs for both buildings, so they’ll function as a single building,” Wood explained. “I think it’s a really nice pairing and a very unique property to be nestled in a residential community but still to have a boutique but historic apartment building that operated as a hotel at the turn of the century.”

Prices for apartments in the historic building range from $1,350 for a loft-style studio to $2,395 for the largest two-bedroom units.
