Fox in the Snow Announces Third Location Coming to New Albany

After opening their second location this year in German Village, Fox in the Snow Cafe has announced a third location coming soon to New Albany. Taking up residence at the Market & Main development in New Albany’s town center, Fox in the Snow will open this winter at 160 W. Main St.

Fox in the Snow New Albany neighbors the restaurant Hudson 29 and sits across from the Market & Main apartments currently under construction.

“At its core, Fox in the Snow is a neighborhood cafe. When we were approached about a New Albany location, it seemed like a perfect fit given the strong sense of community that exists there,” said co-owner Lauren Culley in a press release. “We’re hoping that the location at Market & Main will put us at the crossroads of that community, not only making us more convenient to our existing customers but also introducing us to more of our neighbors in the New Albany area.”

The 2,300 square foot cafe will offer their signature baked goods and espresso drinks in an atmosphere not unlike those in German Village and Italian Village. With an outdoor dining area, the restaurant will offer room for up to 70 guests.

“Fox in the Snow will be a very popular addition to our growing restaurant, retail and service offerings at Market and Main Streets,” said Bill Ebbing, president of New Albany Company, developers of the Market Square area. “We have welcomed some very successful restaurants and quick casual eateries to our downtown district over the last year or so including Hudson 29, Freshii, Johnson’s Ice Cream and Mellow Mushroom. Fox in the Snow Café is in a category all its own and has been one of the most requested by the community. We are very excited that they’ve decided to become a part of the New Albany community.”
