COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Prices at the pump are expected to keep climbing, especially after last week’s furious surge in oil prices. Crude came very close to $140 a barrel in a record-shattering rally on Friday.
An analysts on CBS The Early Show said the price of gas must now catch up to the huge surge in oil. The price that would match $140 a barrel is about $5.50 a gallon. He says that is a real possibility by the end of summer.
