California-based home decor shop Parachute will be opening it first Ohio store this week at Easton Town Center. The brand was founded in 2014 as an online-only eCommerce site focused on bedding, and has expanded into the brick and mortar sales with over a dozen stores throughout the US.
In addition to bedding, the company focuses on additional bedroom and bathroom furniture, linens, towels, dinnerware, accessories and other home goods.
The new Easton location at 4035 The Strand West measures just over 4,200 square feet, making it the brand’s largest store to date. The store is replacing women’s clothing store LOFT, a brand owned by Ascena Retail Group which filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in 2020 and announced plans to shutter a number of stores. Asecena has since been acquired by private equity firm Sycamore Partners.
Parachute will open the doors at its Columbus store on Thursday, June 30th.
