Hotel LeVeque Prepares for Fall Opening

It’s been nearly two years since it was announced that a portion of LeVeque Tower would be converted into a boutique hotel, but the wait is nearly over for visitors who want to stay overnight inside the most iconic building in the Downtown skyline. Officially called “Hotel LeVeque”, the new space is a part of Marriott International’s “Autograph Collection” of hotels. Currently, Marriott only operates around 100 hotels that fall into the Autograph Collection, putting Hotel LeVeque in rare company on the luxury side of the chain’s portfolio.

“Hotel LeVeque will shine a light on Columbus’ incredible design, art and creativity, really bringing the spirit of the city to life for our guests,” said General Manager Geri Lombard. “We’re looking at everything from having a local maker create a special line of soaps, lotion and amenities for our guests, to working with a Columbus fashion designer to create signature staff uniform features.”

The new hotel will include 149 guest rooms on floors five through 10 with amenities that include a refurbished lobby, meeting space, and an upscale restaurant on the second floor mezzanine.
