LemonShark Poké & Makai Grill Abruptly Closes

Exactly one year after it opened, Easton’s LemonShark Poké & Makai Grill has closed its doors. A post on the restaurant’s social media pages on Monday, February 23 announced the immediate closure.

“As of today, Lemonshark Poké & Makai Grill is closed. We want to thank Easton and Greater Columbus for welcoming us with open arms and showing us the true meaning of Ohana, family. ⁣It has been a pleasure to serve you.”

Easton was the first Ohio restaurant and the first combined Poké-Makai concept from the Southern California based LemonShark Poké franchisors. At the time of its opening, a second Columbus location had already been announced. LemonShark was to be a part of the 15th & High development near OSU. An additional combined concept location in Redlands, CA is listed as temporarily closed.

A request for comment on the reason for the closure and the status of its plans for the campus area have not yet been returned.

LemonShark, 3969 Merchants Row, was part of the Easton expansion.
