The race is on for control of City Hall this November with Democrats and Republicans already lined up and ready to square off. But local Libertarian candidates are still struggling to get on ballot. Potential candidates Mark Noble, Robert Bridges Jr. and Andrew Ullman are required to have a total of 1,000 valid signatures from Columbus voters before the deadline of February 2nd to be eleigble to participate in the primary this May.
“We’ve braved foul weather, icy steps, and lots of cautious dogs,” says Mark Noble about his time spent collecting signatures this winter. “But I’ve found people to be welcoming, both to my ideas for restoring integrity to city council, and to me personally, as people invite me into their homes to warm up and chat.”
