New Downtown Stadium Name Unveiled: Lower.Com Field

The new Downtown home of the Columbus Crew Major League Soccer team has officially been named. The owners of the team announced today a long-term naming rights partnership with New Albany-based Lower.com. When the stadium opens up on July 3, it will officially be known as “Lower.com Field.”

“We are proud to partner with Lower in naming our new Stadium,” said Dee Haslam, Columbus Crew Investor-Operator. “Lower is a world-class company, rooted in Columbus, renowned for their culture and fully invested in giving back to our community.”

Lower.com was founded in 2018 and has seen rapid growth since its launch. The mortgage financing company boasts nearly 1,000 employees in Ohio and Maryland while funding over $3.2 billion in loans.

“We’re still relatively unknown as a company,” stated Lower CEO Dan Snyder. “So, this partnership, to some extent, is the coming out party for our brand. Very few companies ever get to name a stadium, let alone a brand new one, in their hometown. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity.”

The Columbus Crew SC will face off against New England Revolution in their first home game in the new stadium on July 3.
