CAPA and CDDC are once again coming together to present two free concerts this summer at the Columbus Commons. Martina McBride will perform at the Commons on Sunday, July 9 with Harper Grace. Boyz II Men returns to the Commons on Friday, August 25 and will perform with Harmonic Soul Band.
Both shows will be free to attend, but free tickets will be required to enter the Commons. The Martina McBride ticket release will be on Wednesday, June 14 at 10 a.m., and the Boyz II Men ticket release will be on Wednesday, July 26 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis by visiting columbuscommons.org.
Additionally, Columbus Commons has over 200 events scheduled throughout the summer, including outdoor yoga, kickball, Brews in the Bosque, more free concerts, a free performance of Shadowbox Live’s Flower Power on May 28, movie nights, food truck breakfasts on Wednesday mornings, food truck lunches on Thursdays, and more.
The Harmony Project will present a free performance of ‘Concert for Community’ on Thursday, May 18. Shop with Zora’s House during their WoCo (woman of color) Summer Market on Saturday, June 10. The Columbus Symphony Orchestra makes the Commons their summer home for the Picnic with the Pops series on Saturday evenings from June 17 through July 29.
Carousel rides are free every day, 11 am to 7 pm through September 30.
