Milo’s Deli Launches New Food Cart at Broad & High

Milo’s Deli & Cafe has always had a connection with Broad Street (their Franklinton location is a Broad Street staple, and last year they took over operations of the Ohio Statehouse cafe), and today they cemented this connection even further. The Milo’s Capital Cafe Food Cart launched just outside the Ohio Statehouse building near the corner of Broad & High Streets.

“The nice weather has prompted us to get our product outside of the Statehouse,” said Milo’s Owner Louie Pappas. “We want to provide something unique to the heart of Downtown, out on the street.”

Customers of Milo’s existing locations will find similar types of street food options. Wraps, salads and burgers for lunch, along with Jeni’s Ice Creams and fresh cookies for snacks.

“We are doing a soft opening the first week, and we want to roll out breakfast the second week,” adds Pappas. “We want to try several different gourmet foods that can be served quickly out of a steam well on cart, but if the market wants traditional fare, we will invest in a cart with a larger grill.”

Lunch hours at the Milo’s Capital Cafe Food Cart will operate Monday through Friday, 10:30am to 1:30pm.
