According to a new report from bill payment app doxo, the City of New Albany ranked number three in the State of Ohio for highest household bills.
Based on the research behind the study, the average New Albany resident pays $2,598 per month for a combined cost of mortgage/rent, household utilities, insurance, car payment, mobile phone, security and more. Those costs rank 36.4% higher than the national average of $2,003 per month.
Other high-cost Central Ohio suburbs in the report include Dublin in 1st place, Powell in 2nd place, Hilliard in 4th and Lewis Center in 5th. The City of Columbus ranks 42nd for highest household expenses in the State of Ohio.

- Mortgage Payment: $2,170/mo
- Rent: $1,344/mo
- Auto Loan: $386/mo
- Auto Insurance: $170/mo
- Utilities (gas, electric, water, trash, etc): $296/mo
- Health Insurance: $102/mo
- Cable & Internet: $94/mo
- Cell/Mobile Service: $129/mo
