NRI Announces Final Phase of Parks Edge Project

Work could start as soon as next year on a 10-story, 50-unit condominium building in the Arena District. To be called Parks Edge North, the building represents the third and final phase of the Parks Edge project, developed by Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI).

The first phase of the project, announced in late 2015, was completed in 2017, while the second building was completed in 2018. Both are twelve stories tall and front West Spring Street.

The new building will sit across from McFerson Commons Park, at the corner of McConnell Boulevard and New Public Lane.

“Since opening the first phase in 2017, Parks Edge has set the standard for downtown condominiums in this market,” said NRI President and COO Brian J. Ellis in a statement. “We’re excited to get the final phase underway and fulfill the full vision for this project which has forever changed our city’s great skyline.”

The project will require approval from the Downtown Commission before moving forward, and is scheduled to appear before the board on November 20, according to NRI. The company is projecting opening the building to its first residents some time in 2021.

The new building will overlook McFerson Commons Park and sit between the second Parks Edge building and Burnham Square Condominiums.
