    Ohio Wine and Grape Conference 2009

    About a month ago, I had a chance to attend the Ohio Wine and Grape Conference. Originally going under the name ‘Ohio Grape-Wine Short Course,’ this was the 37th year of the event. The obvious question is, ‘What has 35+ years wrought?’ Being only slightly older than the event maybe makes it a bit presumptuous of me to comment, but I will anyway over the next series of posts here. I will look at what has changed in the wine landscape over those years and where Ohio’s wine industry, which has grown apace, fits in. I have way more questions than answers and a lot of challenges.
