Abe Lincoln said you can’t please all of the people all of the time, but Gresso’s, the recently opened German Village hot spot, wasn’t around then.

“We want to bring some life back to German Village,” said co-owner Eric Gresak, a.k.a. Gresso. “This is a unique establishment that can make everyone happy.”

He ain’t lying. Here there is literally always something going on.

For sports fans, there’s the NFL Sunday Ticket and Big Ten packages. Cultural types stop by for jazz night on Wednesdays and wine night on Thursdays. You can bring your furry friends to Pups on the Patio, get your guffaw on at comedy night or reserve a room for your next meeting.

There’s even free wireless Internet for the get-hammered-and-update-the-blog set.
