The 2020 edition of the Arnold Sports Festival came to Columbus over the past weekend, and despite the COVID-19 ban on spectators, the show (mostly) still went ahead.
Although the Expo and several of the sporting events unfortunately had to be canceled, athletes still took part in a wide range of events that took place throughout the sparsely occupied convention center, fairgrounds and other locations around Columbus.
Despite the slightly hollow low-key atmosphere, there were still medals to win and champions to crown as William “The Conqueror” Bonac won the Arnold Classic title, Elisa Pecini won The Bikini International Crown and fan favorite, “The Mountain” Hafthor Bjornsson took home his third-straight Arnold Strongman Classic title.
