Norwegian singer-songwriter Girl in Red, the indie-pop project from Marie Ulven Ringheim, stopped by a rainy Columbus on Wednesday evening for a massive show at KEMBA Live!
With 2021’s debut album If I Could Make It Go Quiet charting well across the globe and with the most played song on CD92.9 last year, it came as no surprise for Girl in Red to sell out the show as a mostly young and female crowd packed into the KEMBA Live! indoor venue.
Opening for the evening was another relative newcomer to the scene in British songwriter Holly Humberstone who rewarded those that showed up early with a captivating set of loops and effects-heavy, heart-on-sleeve soft-pop.
