Sonic Temple Saturday picked up the Friday baton and ran with it as the relentless rock fest kept on chugging from noon till late with almost zero breaks between sets throughout the old faithful compound of Historic Crew Stadium.
Early acts on the Octane stage once again favoured the generic angry screaming side of the genre until Sweden’s Avatar offered up their entertaining circus themed metal before headliners Puscifer closed the stage with their completely bonkers brand of experimental rock that comes from the mind of Maynard James Keenan.
Rob Zombie performed on the Temple stage but as expected, the night belonged to KISS, who descended from the Historic Crew Stadium rafters around 9:30pm and launched into a 90 minute set of classic rock and over-the-top stage antics to cap off another day of rock and roll.
