Changes are in store for Ray Ray’s Granville location. The barbecue joint will drop its Meat + Three name and format in favor of the carry-out only style and menu of its other area Hog Pit locations.
Ray Ray’s Meat + Three opened at 1256 Columbus Rd. in Granville in April 2021, offering an expanded menu as well as dine-in seating.
According to a press release, Chef & Founder James Anderson, “took a long and thoughtful look at the demands the post-COVID, dine-in full-service places on the broader Ray Ray’s plan, team and operations.”
Ray Ray’s will make the switch to its original Hog Pit menu with online ordering and carry-out only service beginning Thursday, August 11.
With the transition, Ray Ray’s will also streamline its operating hours across its now five area locations, serving up its famous barbecue from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday from its food trucks at Land-Grant Brewing Company in Franklinton, Nocterra Brewing Co. in Powell and Ace of Cups in Clintonville, and walk-up window and drive-thru in Westerville.
The fate of the Meat + Three dining room and kitchen will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
“Much of what makes Ray Ray’s a Central Ohio legend, and a fan favorite, is an unyielding passion for the rich culinary traditions and flavors of American barbecue,” a press release said. “Soon-to-be announced plans for the Granville dining room and expansive kitchen will keep that passion in full swing.”
