    Dine Originals Adds Four New Member Restaurants

    Dine Originals Columbus is happy to announce that four restaurants have joined the group. Betty’s Fine Food & Spirits, Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace, The Jury Room and Babushka’s Kitchen.

    Basil Expands Restaurant Space

    Basil Thai Restaurant has expanded into the former The Attic space next door, adding more dining space. The original side has become more of a lounge bar atmosphere. Join them for 614’s Restaurant Week. They will be featuring 3 Courses for $20.

    Menu Additions

    Barcelona introduces “Menu del Dia,” a $10 lunch special that gets you a starter, a main course item and a side. Join them for lunch, Monday-Friday, 11:30am-2:30pm. Free valet services during lunch.

    Openings and New Hours

    Midway on High Restaurant and Bar has opened at 1728 North High Street in the former Bento Go Go space. The restaurant will be open from 11am to 2:30am seven days a week.

    bonoPIZZA is now open on Mondays. Visit them every day (except Tuesday) from 5pm to 10pm.

    Sugardaddy’s has expanded hours in their three stores and are now taking reservations for Valentine’s Day. Visit them at Downtown, Easton or Polaris: Polaris Parkway M-F 10-7; SA 10-4; SU 12-4, Easton M-TH 10-9; F-SA 10-10; SU 12-6, Downtown M-F 11-6; SA 12-4.

    Z Cucina is now open for lunch for groups of 8 to 75 people with at least 24 hours advance notice. They also cater and deliver group lunches. A nice wine dinner is coming up on Thursday, Feb 9 with a fourth generation winemaker from Northern Italy.

    Upcoming Events

    Basi Italia has the following events: A fun beer dinner with Rockmill Brewery this Wednesday evening (Jan 18). Chef Johnny will be pairing food with the 5 different Rockmill beers and Matthew Barbee will be there talking about how he makes his amazing brews. Seats still available. Call to reserve 614.294.7383. The following week they will start their winter special- spaghetti and basi balls (aka meatballs and chocolate balls for dessert! ) – three courses for $20 if you dine before 7pm on weekdays.

    The Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls will be doing a special Valentine’s menu on three separate days. Feb 11th, 14th and the 18th. Menu is online at our website. They also have a Winter CookInn class Jan. 28th. It requires a weekend stay. Class price includes, wine and desserts Friday night with Chef Anthony, then class from 2-4:30pm on Saturday and dinner as well that evening.

    Omega Artisan Baking has a Bread Baking Class on Wednesday, Jan 18.

    Trattoria Roma is featuring an Australian Wine Dinner on Thursday Jan 26. $55/person, 5 courses, 4 wines.

    There are still seats available for The Hills Market’s Cooking Class – A Trio of Trucks on Tuesday, Jan 17. 6:30pm-9:30pm. $25 a person and includes wine and beer pairings. Featured trucks are Hot Pita, Pitabilities and Kolache Republic.
