    Some in Columbus Don’t Like OSU Football

    We interrupt the latest edition of The Dispatch to bring you this urgent news: Some central Ohio residents don’t like the Ohio State Buckeyes or even football.

    They have, for the most part, remained a silent minority, resigned to reading books, raking the yard or buying groceries on Saturday afternoons in the fall.

    They spurn gifts of OSU clothing. They don’t relive games at the water cooler on Monday mornings. They avoid TV news and even certain pages of The Dispatch during the college football season.

    Despite the efforts of Buckeyes die-hards, such souls — steadfast in their beliefs — won’t be converted.
