Tasty Dawg Opens in The Arena District

Starting this week, you’ve got a new option for hot dogs in the Downtown area. Tasty Dawg is a new concept from Tom Dailey and Sung Jin Pak, the spouses and restaurateurs that operate multiple Zoup franchises in Central Ohio in addition to their Tasty Main Catering business.

Having launched on Thursday this week, Tasty Dawg operates within the Zoup location at 155 W. Nationwide Boulevard with a focus on online orders available for pickup or delivery.

Some of the signature hot dogs on the menu include the “Island BBQ Dawg” topped with pineapple, onion and barbecue sauce, the “California Dawg” which features lettuce, tomato, avocado and yum yum sauce, and the “Pimento Cheese Dawg” that includes roasted red peppers, crumbled bacon and pimento cheese spread.

All signature hot dogs start at $5.99 with upgrades available, including plant-based options. Sides include cole slaw, tater tots, mac and cheese and chili.

The owners indicated that they have plans to open free-standing Tasty Dawg locations in the future.
